These are great thoughts to live by, as living frugal doesn’t necessarily mean being cheap. Frugality isn’t about doing without, it’s about doing the most you can with what is available to you. It’s about not wasting resources, it’s about doing things smarter.

Shopping around for the best bargain is frugal. Using coupons on regular purchases is frugal. Buying used is frugal. Doing things yourself instead of paying someone else is frugal. Reducing waste is frugal.

As our grandparents said, “Use it up, wear it out, and make it do.”

We don’t want to take frugality to the extreme, but I’d venture a guess that all of us could strive to be a little bit more frugal without putting a strain on anyone. I want to share with you how to do just that!
