Sometimes you hear that here in OKlahoma too! Just like this past Monday. Twisters were popping up ALL OVER!
The one in Little Axe caused SO much destruction that it’s just possible to share, but I’ll try.
Here’s a shot of the ONLY grocery store, or what is left of it.

Sonic was spared but was without power for a couple days, much like most of the residents of the Little Axe area.
This is when you’re glad you can whip up meals with what you have on hand!
I don’t mean to make light of the situation. It’s horrible. So much destruction. Some of us have regained power (although we still don’t have a phone in the house….) guess that will come in a day or two.
OEC (Oklahoma Electric Coop) and OG&E (Oklahoma Gas and Electric) have done a wonderful job of getting power back. They’ve replaced SO many electric poles, wires and transformers already, only a few miles left…
My hats off to both the electric companies as well as all the people, fire, police, sheriff’s, construction crews and everyone else that has pitched in to help in the area.
Oklahomans are good people!
