Ringing in Spring with a New Grill

This week all our menus are planned around our new grill.

We’re learning ‘how’ to cook on it.

One night we had cauliflower cooked in foil on the grill (along with our meat etc…) and it was delish. But one night we had mixed veggies cooked the same way and they didn’t get done!

Live and learn!

New Grill

There’s a new grill in the house (well outside the house) and we aren’t afraid to use it! This week’s menu will focus on meat cooked outside.

And hopefully, MANY meals will be cooked outside making my life in the kitchen just a little bit easier!

Grillin’ Chicken

When grilling chicken outside be sure to keep the chicken chilled until it’s actually time to cook.

Chicken should be grilled until it’s well done.

Grilled chicken juices will run clear, never pink.

Grilled chicken should be refrigerated within a couple hours of removing from the grill.

Marinades used on raw chicken should be tossed. Never use that marinade to cook the chicken.
