It’s easy to make homemade cocoa! And the memories it will bring back will make you smile! You’ll be making new memories too!
Old Style Homemade Cocoa
3 T cocoa (NOT instant chocolate milk - use REAL cocoa) (in the baking aisle)
1/4 c sugar
4 cups milk
1/4 t vanilla
marshmallows
Mix the cocoa and sugar together in a small dish.
Heat the milk to scalding hot in a medium size saucepan on top of the stove. Add a little of the hot milk to the cocoa mixture and stir to make a syrup, add to the hot milk and stir until well blended.
Add vanilla, pour into handled mugs and place a large marshmallow on top of each one.
