Got leftover Rice Krispies and don’t want another batch of Rice Krispie treats? Try these cookies. They’re great. The Rice Krispies give them a little unexpected crunch.
EVERYONE loves these!
Rice Krispies Cookies
1 c butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c white sugar
1 egg
1 c vegetable oil
1 t vanilla
1 t almond flavoring (can be omitted)
1 c flaked coconut
1 c oatmeat
1 c Rice Krispies
3 1/2 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t cream of tartar
1 t salt
Mix all the ingredients in the order listed in a large bowl. Drop by teaspoonful on a cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350.
