I do a ton of my shopping online, but I’m usually ’store’ savvy too.
When I took Ms. J back to school shopping recently, I planned the route, and I scoured the net looking for printable coupons. I then printed out physical coupons for every single store that I thought we might go shopping in.
Would you believe after ALL THAT PREPARATION that I FORGOT I had the silly coupon in my purse and lost out on 20% at the first store?
ARGH!!!!!
That’s one reason why I love shopping online. As you’re checking out there’s a box there for a coupon code so even if you’ve forgotten, it just takes a minute to go check your favorite coupon site, like Savings.com deals for an online coupon.
That reminder is priceless! Well, maybe 20%.
Coupons have been around for decades, in fact, if you come across a vintage women’s magazine and flip through the pages, you’ll most likely see coupons! Course they were mostly food…
Now, as I shop for anything online, whether it’s back to school clothes, or movies, I always check for a coupon code.
The good thing is, I’ll never lose one of those in my purse!
