If you’ve managed to find this post then I assume your sofa is probably looking pretty dull and dreary. Luckily you don’t have to shell out on a brand new one to get your living room looking spruce once again. So I’ve decided to put together a few tips on how to revitalize your existing sofa.
Buy a sofa cover: Well, sometimes the most obvious methods are the best. Visit the store that you bought your sofa from and they might have one that fits perfectly. Otherwise they will most likely have a section of ‘one size fits all’ covers which are sure to hide any unwanted stains. The beauty of this method is that if it gets dirty all you have to do is wash it.
Strategically placed cushions: This method is usually saved for the comedy dads who’ve spilled red wine and simply flipped their cushions to hide their clumsiness from their nagging wives; often to discover an equally nasty stain on the other side. So to stop the endless cycle of flip and re-flip buy some large fancy cushions. They cover the stains and make the sofa more comfortable.
Give it a decent cleaning: Start by vacuuming the sofa, the pillows and all its attachments. Make sure you get the back of the sofa as well. Use a duster to clean the wooden areas. When you’re ready to get going make sure you follow the directions on the couch cleaner. Apply it to the entire sofa to make sure that there are no inconsistencies in colour and don’t reassemble the cushions until everything is dry.
Choose from one of these three tip and you are guaranteed to have a new looking sofa at a fraction of the price of a new one. Good luck.
Alternatively you could always buy a new sofa from SCS. They’ve lots of leather sofas to choose from.
