I had purchased one of those big honkin’ packages of celery at Sams and used a piece or two in some dish I made. I got Chili-man to eat a piece or two (I don’t like raw celery.) and the rest us was slowing getting sad in the fridge.
VOWING not to be wasteful, I dug my Excaliber dehydrator out of the cabinet and set it up.
I chopped celery for what seemed like forever. There were THREE bunches… ….
Set it up in the dehydrator and let set it to going.
At the end of the day - those three big bunches of celery were reduced to about a half of cup….
WOW - space saving. Food saving. I should really use the dehydrator much more often…
