The annual fall Sorghum Festival in Oklahoma is always a good time!
There’s a big parade with lots of horses.
But the best part?

sorghum
It’s buying the sorghum that’s made right there!
It’s harvested.

sorghum press
Ran thru the vintage sorghum press.
Where the juice is extracted.

sorghum juice
All ran by lots of helping hands and a couple of mules.

mules
The juice is then cooked down in big vats and bottled.
Talk about fresh!
It’s usually the fourth weekend in October. (Around October 24) so be sure to attend this annual event NEXT fall!
