Firestarters
Some folks save up their dryer lint, egg cartons and old candles. They stuff the dryer lint into the egg depressions and pour melted candle wax over them. They use them when camping, or to start the fireplace. They work!
Another way to have a firestarter that works in any weather is to take regular old wooden matches, dental floss and wax. Wrap dental floss around 10 or so of the matches and dip the bundle into melted wax. You end up with a giant match.
They work great - hard to blow out, guaranteed to light. Perfect for a ‘bob’
