I took two kiddos back to school shopping this weekend.
Whew!
The crowds, the heat, the aggravation….. I’m glad that’s over for another year!
One tiny little way you can save money when going back to school shopping is to ‘know what you have’ before you go.
YES, go through your kids closet with the child. Anything that’s obviously worn out or too small pack up for a donation. Anything that’s questionable, try it on!
Then once you know ‘what’ you have you can make a list of ‘what’ you need for your back to school wardrobe.
You might have plenty of jeans but need tops. You might have lots of tops but need something to ‘go with’ a certain skirt, or shorts….
Having a list and knowing what you need will keep you from spending too much money on ‘too many pairs of jeans’ or too many new underwear.
Every little bit helps with your bottom line when it comes to back to school shopping!
