Rethinking Car Ins

Thursday, August 19th, 2010

There are times when it’s important to check your insurance coverage and a great time is when you add a teenager to your policy. Just because you’ve used the same agency for years does not mean that you’re getting the cheapest car insurance around.

And the companies with the big commercials may not be your cheapest choice either.

It pays to shop around. It especially pays to shop around when your circumstances change. All of these circumstances can change the price of your coverage:

Did you:

Get married?

Divorced?

Add a driver?

Have a child turn 16?

Have a child turn 18?

Have a child go to college?

Turn 35?

Moved to a new city?

Got a new vehicle?

If so, it might be time to check around for the best price for your new circumstances.
