A recent trip to the dentist didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. It seems that some of my crowns are hiding decay underneath and have to be replaced. They’ve outlived their normal lifespan by several years.
The bad part? Well, other than I have to have the work done is that my insurance caps at a certain dollar amount which means that I’ll have a substantial out of pocket.
I found out that the solution to getting the biggest bang for my buck is to enroll in my work’s health savings account. Seems I can use the money now and have what I spend deducted over the course of the coming year.
Now that’s smart! Now if I can just make that appointment…. Yikes
