Where Do They Come From?

I swear.

I give up bread.

I give up meat.

I give up!

Where do these pounds that creep up on me come from? Lordy, it’s crazy. It’s almost the end of the year and I’m determined NOT to have to buy a bigger size… Who want’s a bigger size for Christmas? Not me! I’m determined to loose the weight even if it takes me a year to do it. OK, who wants to wait a year?

Sometimes you need a little boost to get you started, kinda like the induction phases of many popular diets. Problem is, I don’t want a diet, I want a food plan. I’m considering an ‘aid’ of some kind. Have you read any of the lipofuze reviews? What do you think about them?

Is that a, a brownie calling me?

Struggleleleing

I’m struggling. That word isn’t big enough.

I’m struggleleleing… with trying to lose a pound or two before the weigh in this coming week. It seems that the more you concentrate on it - the worse the cravings are.

I’ve been bringing my lunch and of course yesterday I forget…. So instead of going somewhere and ordering a salad, what do I do but get the Friday special at the little Chinese place.

What can I say? It was DELISH.

I think EVERY little thing you aren’t supposed to have tastes super good when you’re trying to diet don’t you?

So now, I think I’m four days away, haven’t lost an ounce in fact…..

Starting to get desperate, again. Considering a fast. (Yeah right). Considering some thermogenic fat burners. (Thinking that might raise my metabolism but might also make me hot.) OR maybe, just maybe I could avoid Dr Pepper for a few days.

I know.

But it’s calling me.

Golf as a Diet Aid

Chili-man’s tried all kinds of different diets. We did low carb for a while and that works as long as you can stay on it. Staying on it is the hard part. We did high fiber…

He even visited a doc once for some of those best weight loss pills, and like so many magic beans, well they worked too, as long as you stay one them.

We even tried vegetarian food (minus soy) and that helped too. But all in all, the weight just keeps coming back.

Know what’s working for him?

Golf.

I bought him golf clubs for Christmas last year and he finally got around to learning the game, and playing the game and he’s losing weight!

I never thought I’d say that I like golf, but I do now. It’s working and whatever works for you is what you should do.

I wonder if I should take up the sport too?

Cherry Dr Pepper

It’s about that time I year when I get all fed up and decide to go on a diet. I know, I know. Diets are NOT the best thing in the world, as there’s always that little rebound you get at the end.

I’ve tried lots, and I think that I’ve had my best luck with a modified low carb diet. For me, that just seems to work the best. It seems to me like the initial phase, if you don’t go so low as to get the shakes, is the best fat burner there is. It’s like your body shifts into burn mode and you can quickly zip up those jeans.

Me? While I do have a pair of older jeans in the back of the dresser that I’d love to get back into someday, in reality, I’d just like to wear shorts, in public, every now and then.

It’s just too hot to always be in dress slacks (and hose) during the week and jeans on the weekend… … …

Now, if I could just drive past Sonic without stopping for a cherry Dr Pepper… ….
