Magazines

I love magazines.

I can’t get enough of them.

I have my favorites too. My new favorite is Mary Janes Farm. It’s kind of like Martha Stewart meets Mother Earth News. Love it!

But I also subscribe to National Geographic, Mother Earth News, a couple of ‘women type’ mags, a photography mag,and more… ….. Like I said, I like magazines and I can’t pass up a really good deal on reading material. Lately the bargains have been great!

Last month I got an offer in the mail for a collectibles/antique type mag and it sounded SO good to me that I signed up immediately and when the bill came I sent off a check, long before I saw an issue.

My bad.

The first issue came.

It’s nothing more than a newsletter.

And filled with information I already knew! Information I had read either in an emailed newsletter or on Yahoo news.

I’ve written for a refund as I am thoroughly disappointed.

Cheap Magazines

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Look for bargains online. An easy way to do that is to sign up for alerts from your favorite stores or websites that list bargains.

Yesterday, the price drop magazine of the day was Videomaker. It was $4.44 for 12 full issues. Now that’s a bargain ‘if’ you have any interest in making videos at all.

Well, it just so happens that chili-man does do some videos for clients. It’s becoming more and more popular, so that magazine was a cinch for the office.

My favorite magazine place is MagazinePriceSearch.com . You put in the name of the magazine you’re interested in and their search engine searches all the magazine companies and tells you the lowest price. That’s handy! I use it every single time I’m interested in a mag! Try it once and you’ll be hooked!
