Today Chili-man spotted that big bag of colored bell peppers on our shopping trip to Sams. They’re really pretty. Big, huge firm bell peppers in red, orange and yellow.
I found it unusual because he ‘really’ doesn’t care for bell peppers. If I make pepper steak, he’ll nibble at the pepper. If I put them in a sweet/sour dish he’ll eat around them. If I make stuffed bell peppers, he eats the stuffing out of the inside! So, yes I was a little surprised at his pickup.
We were on the salad aisle and I thought perhaps he was thinking about adding them to a salad.

After we got home, he proceeded to get out the chopper and the cutting board… (LORD HAVE MERCY) and he began chopping them all up. Then bagged and froze for adding to dishes later.
WOW.
