Save $ at Disneyland Secrets

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

I’ve a relative that decided on a whim to rent a mini-van and haul her kiddos to Disneyland. They did everything impromptu and luckily for them it all worked out great.

I’ve got a friend that planned her Disneyland vacation to the tee! Her’s was less ‘impromptu’ and was able to take advantage of many a special (because of the coordination) than the relative was.

Her secret?

Well she had two.

(1) She created an itinerary so that they managed to be in the right places at the right times for all the ’special’ events and bargain prices.
(2) She utilized Disneyland secret tips garnered from an ex-Disney employee!

This ex-Disneyland employee knows all the ‘inside’ information that allows people to not only find the cheapest tickets but where to find freebies!

Plus inside info on which rides are best, which ones to miss, best places to eat (and the ones to look out for). She tells you which shows to be sure to catch and which ones to avoid.

You TOO can benefit from learning some Disneyland secret tips by following this link, buying the INSIDE information before you head out on vacation.

You’re sure to save WAY MORE than the price of this book, it’s less than the price of a carload of drinks at your favorite drive in!

Save Money Every Way You Can

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Save money every way you can.

Lots of people are dropping their home phone service and just relying on their cell phones.

Those folks with home security systems can’t do that, BUT, I’d venture a guess that they still have a cell phone.

Save money on your residential phone service by dropping all the extra ‘fluff’ that’s on their. If you primarily use your cell, well you don’t ‘need’ long distance on your home phone.

Got any other extras on there? Downgrade. You’ll save moula.

Home Made is Best Made

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Stretch your dollars this holiday season by making as many things yourself as you can.

Store bought pies are $8-$10-$12 or more, each. You can make several different varieties of pies at home for a lot less money. Making your own stuffing from scratch not only tastes better, it’s cheaper.

Many foods go on sale this time of year, stock up now while the prices are low. Canned pumpkin, flour, sugar, baking chips are all on sale. Determine how many you’d need for a year and buy them now.

Aim for just a few side dishes. You don’t have to please every single person attending. Same with desserts, one or two pies is sufficient, you don’t need an armada of different pies to choose from.

Funny Way to Save Money

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

I heard the funniest money saving methodology I’ve ever heard today. How to save money on checked baggage when you fly.

Ready?

WEAR YOUR CLOTHES.

Sure, wear your clothes onto the plane.

Wait, don’t we already do this?

No, wear ALL YOUR CLOTHES!

LOL,

Layer every item you’ll need for your trip on your person. Layer the underwear and the pants and the tops… … … Sure, you’ll look like the Michelin man, but you’ll save money on suitcases!

I think a better way would be to maximize your outfits. Make one work as two. Coordinating items that can be hand washed and quickly hung to dry. Thin, lightweight knits all packed into a carry on. But hey, if you like looking like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, well, go ahead…
