A long long time ago, back when I was ‘relatively’ young, with just one child in tow, I didn’t have much money for ‘fun’. In fact, I had a budget of ZERO for fun.
So ‘for fun’ I would visit apartment complexes on Saturdays and ask to see an apartment.
Is that bad?
I got to see some apartments that were very plain and even did a Section 8 Apartment Search. Most of those were in a not so great environment, which let me know that I wouldn’t ever consider living there, no matter the price. I also managed to view some apartments that were ‘out of this world’ amazing!
Talk about a “Luxury Apartment“! There was this one place that was just so ‘bling’
Amenities? Man, I wasn’t used to anything but ordinary. Amenities galore, such as alarm systems, garden tubs, huge closets, big big garages, crown molding, and get this ‘gourmet’ kitchens!
I never moved into one, but it sure raised the bar on what I expected from that point on!
